1827 has entered the blogging world! Bookmark, follow, subscribe, or like us to see and read about all the shenanigans we're getting into! We are what I like to call a "couple company" made up of myself, Lisa (main blogger + photographer) and Chris (photographer + graphic designer). We met in a photography class funny enough and found out we worked for the same institution and clicked right away - just like our trusty shutters! We've been inseparable since and continue to build our little company - 1827.
How did we get our name? Well we played around with a few creative names and tried to come up with something that conveyed both of our creative personalities. We tried some fun names like shutterbug and pixel play and finally came upon 1827. So we played with variations of 1827 including Suite 1827 and Studio 1827, but decided on 1827 photography + design with a short version application, 1827, because it was a simple and classic name that would never expire with the latest fad. So what does 1827 even stand for? Well, 18 is Chris' birthday number and 27 is my birthday number. We even did a little background check on the date itself and found out that 1827 is also one of the proposed years of the inception of photography! What are the chances huh?
Our vision for this blog is to post exciting projects we've been working on and how we created some of our shots! We hope you'll visit again and enjoy our photography + design projects, ideas, and results!
